Revisions

A revision is when you upload a document that you have already uploaded to iThenticate that has been revised or has had more material added to it and want to check your manuscript again.

To submit a revision, select the blue arrow next to the submission.

For an individual credit purchase , you can submit up to five revisions.

A revision upload does not use a credit.

The revision option is not available unless you have used a credit with the original document upload.

If revisions have not been enabled for you account, the ability to use revisions will not appear. Speak to your iThenticate sales representative if you would like revisions to be enabled on your account.

What constitutes a revision?

A revision is an edited version of an original document upload. It must be at least 60% similar to the original upload. If the document is less than 60% similar it will be considered a new upload.
